"toxic" study habits that got me straight A's

"toxic" study habits that got me straight A's
(don't try this if you're sensitive)
1. Study when everyone else is asleep
People said it’s unhealthy. But silence hits different: no messages, no noise, my focus was unreal.
2. Stop highlighting notes
It looks productive, but does almost nothing. If you’re not testing yourself, you’re lying to yourself. Active recall hurt. My grades didn’t.
3. Go ghost during exams
No hangouts. No late calls. People said “you’re too serious.” Funny how results change the conversation.
4. Let yourself reset
Short pauses between subjects. Sometimes breathing. Sometimes doing nothing. Ignoring stress was burning me out more.
5. Motivation fades. Structure stays.
When studying felt chaotic, my brain shut down. I needed a system, not more pressure.
This kept me organised
“Kora AI” keeps everything in one place, so studying felt quieter.
